Jon & Julie Jouvenaux

Jon has filled the role of General Manager for the
ministry from the beginning and sings bass in the group.
Not only does he sing, but he is a great teacher as well.
And on some of our trips he has been the one to
teach the message God gave him.
Jon currently has three occupations besides Free
Indeed, a business owner, a family financial analyst,
and the manager of a fireworks enterprise.

Jon's Testimony: I grew up in a Christian home, but
did not realize God was still alive and/or working
in our lives today.  Through this ministry I have come
to know Christ in a very real way and have watched Him
work in lives right before my eyes.  I don't know what He
has in mind for our future, but since the beginning each  year has truly
been a great adventure.  I love working with the ministry and
watching others come into the group and seeing the fruits of
their labor.  I have learned how to praise Him and showing
others how to do that, well, that's pure joy.

Julie has been blessed with a beautiful soprano voice
which she uses for the Lord in the group and has since
1984 when the group started.
She has also written a few of the songs they sing, for
example she wrote the song "Peace" from Volume 5. Julie
is the one who puts together the costumes they wear which
helps the group to have a really sharp look. And last, but
not least someone has to take the time to clean the bus after
our trips and Julie so graciously does this.

Julie's Testimony: I was baptized when I was 11
years old in North Little Rock, AR.  I was baptized
because I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God
and that He died for my sins.

Julie:   Free Indeed has grown so much.  When we first
started, we were just 4 singers out to have a good time
and maybe get paid enough to go out to eat.  It has become
so much more!  It's amazing what God can and will do if you
get out of the way and let Him have His way.  I guess the
biggest impact Free Indeed has had on my life is to see people
being drawn closer to our God through the power of music.
When I am on stage and looking out (that's such a big advantage),
I can actually see God place his hand on people's hearts and minds
and work right then and there, either softening them up or convicting
them, or just letting them praise Him, as the One who made them and saves them.
WOW!  It's such an awesome experience.  I praise God for letting me
be a part of this group.

Jon and Julie have been married since 1984  and they have two
daughters, their oldest is Jaimie and their youngest is Jacy.
Both of the girls love to play soccer so Jon and Julie are soccer
parents among other things when they are not traveling
with Free Indeed. Jacy also loves tumbling and flips so she
is taking Gymnastics to further her abilities.

Their family loves to camp, so on most free weekends
this is where you will find them, out relaxing and enjoying
God's beautiful creation.

Jon owns a sharp looking motorcycle and on sunny days,
when he gets the chance, that is where he will be... riding
on the back roads.
